         Bubur in English language means porridge,Bubur Ayam Betawi is the typical cuisine betawi. What is betawi? betawi is the designation for the natives batavia which is now known as Jakarta, the state capital Indonesia. If you do not know porridge, slurry is cuisine made of rice. The slurry is the process further than rice with more water, to be rice porridge in advance will be the rice so that in Indonesia there is the term"Nasi sudah menjadi bubur"( rice has become a porridge).

then how to make it without having to come to Jakarta?

The following the recipe
Porridge Ingredients:

200 grams of rice
2,000 ml of chicken broth from chicken bones
1 teaspoon salt
1 bay leaf
Gravy Ingredients:

2 pieces (320 grams) of chicken thighs, crushed bones
2 cm ginger, crushed

How to make:

Porridge: boiled rice, chicken broth, salt, and bay leaf, stirring frequently, until soft and creamy. Set aside.
Sauce: heat the oil. Saute ground spices and ginger until fragrant. Add chicken. Stir until the color changes. Add water, salt, and chicken broth block. Cook over low heat until boiling and berkaldu. Remove the chicken. Fried chicken until cooked. Shredded-shredded chicken.
Serve porridge with a sauce, shredded chicken, and complementary.
